Magic

Yesterday, Benjamin and I were playing magic carpet on a throw rug. He would pretend to "fall" off the rug by rolling on the floor as I yelled for him to come back. Then, he would climb back onto the carpet.

I was getting tired of pretending to fly the carpet, so I said, "It's all out of magic. It can't fly anymore." Benjamin immediately said, "Benjamin get magic." He ran over to the light switch and pretended to pull magic out of the end of the switch. Then, he came back, holding the magic between his thumb and index finger. He placed the magic on the carpet, so that we could keep flying. I don't even know where he learned what the word magic means.

  1. That is so cute! Fisher just watched Aladdin for the first time the other day - he liked it, but is still on the Ariel kick for right now. I think we're gonna stop by some people's houses on Halloween afternoon around 2:00 - are you going to be home around then? Hopefully we'll see you soon!
