Update

Well, it's been a while since I have posted anything as I have been super busy with finishing school and applying to graduate programs. My post-baccalaureate plans came to a halt when, after vomiting for 3 weeks straight, I decided to take a pregnancy test. I was VERY surprised when the test was positive. I was so sure that there was no way we would be able to have any more kids.

Giving up my plans for school has been a very difficult thing to do. Also, I had to stop taking my anti-anxiety meds as they are not safe for the baby. So I was dealing with a lot of changes and going through withdrawal symptoms such as, anxiety, depression, mood swings, and headaches.

On top of everything else, the nausea and vomiting was only getting worse. By the time I was able to go see my Doctor, I had lost about 5 pounds and was extremely dehydrated. So he ordered that I have a Picc-Line placed in my arm. This, of course, is not a huge surprise as I had one with Benjamin as well. This way I am able to get fluid and essential nutrients even though I am still throwing-up. I have a home-care nurse who comes once a week to see how I am doing. I have been feeling much better. I have my good days and my bad days but overall, it's not the worst thing in the world.

Benjamin has decided that we are having a "boy baby." He says that if we don't have a boy, he is going to be very sad. So that's all I can tell you now as far as the gender. I really don't care if it's a boy or a girl as long as it is healthy. I am really worried about our new baby having a heart problem like Benjamin.

Well, that's about all I can think to write at the moment. I'm going to have to come up with some projects to occupy my time as I don't have school. Hopefully July will come soon and I will once again be able to eat normally.
