How precious and sweet
you will always be to me.
So innocent, pure, and perfect
As you were meant to be.
you will always be to me.
So innocent, pure, and perfect
As you were meant to be.
We dreamed of you daily--
of your life and all that it would be.
Patiently waiting for you to come.
So you could join our family.
We never had the chance to play,
To laugh, to rock, to wiggle.
We long to hold you now
And listen to you giggle.
To laugh, to rock, to wiggle.
We long to hold you now
And listen to you giggle.
What a beautiful poem and such precious pictures. I am so glad you were able to blog them, you will be grateful later that you did. You are amazing Catie. Thinking and praying for you all.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! And what a sweet little guy!
ReplyDeleteI don't want to overstep, but after reading what's happened I can't stop thinking about it. I want to send love and hugs and prayers your way, though I know that's not nearly enough for you guys right now. But here's what I'm writing to say: My mom had a very similar experience and we were talking about it just the other day (I'm pregnant right now, and having some issues). She said that the best thing that was said to her was that the baby needed a body. He had no need to spend more time on this earth than what was needed to get a body. Now that he has gotten that, and has been eternally sealed to your family, he can go back and do what the Lord has planned for him there.
ReplyDeleteI hope that will be some small comfort the way it was for my mother. Please know that you are all loved, and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
